An Orange County-based dessert shop chain with five locations, Milk & Cookies will soon open in downtown San Diego.
Chasen McNaughton launched the first Milk & Cookies shop in Newport Beach in 2020. The company has since expanded to Santa Ana, Mission Viejo, Fullerton, and Temecula. The company recently took over the space previously occupied by Poke Vida in downtown's East Village for the first San Diego outpost.
Milk & Cookies specializes in fresh-baked cookies, always served warm, paired with artisanal ice cream made in small batches with all-natural ingredients. The menu also features a variety of milk flavors, including banana, chocolate, strawberry, and orange cream. With over a dozen cookie varieties and eight ice cream flavors, the combinations for a cookie-and-scoop or an ice cream sandwich are practically endless.
