Founded by Helen Song, Origami Handroll x Kushiyaki Bar has quickly made a name for itself, starting with its flagship location in Brea, CA, earlier this year, followed by a branch in the Torrance area of Los Angeles set to open soon. The restaurant offers a unique dining experience, combining expertly crafted handrolls made with locally sourced fish and its new Kushiyaki menu, featuring skewers grilled over authentic binchotan white charcoal.
Origami Handroll x Kushiyaki Bar offers something for every palate, including classic, premium, and vegan handroll options, as well as Donburi chirashi bowls. The San Diego location will also have a menu of beer, wine, Yogurt infused sakes, and wine-based cocktails like Sake mojitos and an Ichico Sour.
