A new branch of Taiwanese global chain 85°C Bakery Cafe is opening in North County, adding to four locations already sited in San Diego.
Founded in 2004 in Taiwan, 85°C Bakery Cafe has grown into a global sensation, boasting over 1,000 stores worldwide. The first San Diego store opened in fall 2014 within Balboa Mesa Shopping Center, and additional area branches have since opened in Mira Mesa, La Jolla's UTC area, and National City. Previously, there was a location in Point Loma, which operated from February 2018 until its closure in January 2020. With its blend of Taiwanese and European-style baked goods, the brand quickly gained a loyal following.
The newest area outpost of 85°C Bakery Cafe is opening soon within Marketplace Del Rio shopping plazay in San Diego's North County city of Oceanside. The bakery’s concept is built around offering high-quality, freshly baked goods and beverages at affordable prices, including its signature Sea Salt Coffee, along with a wide range of pastries, breads, cakes, teas, smoothies, and juices.
