Created by local parents Vivian Ho and Ken Li, who sought a safe and engaging place for their daughter during the pandemic, Kids & Coffee will house an entertainment center that features interactive play areas for children, such as a mini grocery store, parkour structures, a massive ball pit, slides, and a sensory zone for quiet play. Access to the playground will be available through general admission passes or monthly memberships, allowing families to visit regularly or enjoy one-off playdates. The space also includes a private room for nursing mothers.
"The idea of Kids & Coffee was born out of our own personal struggles as parents of young children during the pandemic," explains Kids & Coffee founders. "We were both working full-time when we had Layla, our first daughter. We quickly recognized a need for a safe space that fostered early childhood development, offered community for caregivers and provided educational resources for today's modern parent. Inspired by nature and brought to life by design and community, we're creating a new oasis for play and connection that caters to both kids and grownups alike."
This 11,500-square-foot space has been designed for both children and their caregivers, making it the destination for family fun and relaxation under one roof. The on-site cafe will offer a full espresso menu in collaboration with local roaster Mostra Coffee, as well as tea, smoothies, and a variety of food options like pastries, sandwiches, and salads. For those looking to celebrate special occasions, Kids & Coffee will provide all-inclusive party packages, as well as classes for both kids and adults, ranging from arts and crafts to coffee tastings.
