All-Star Lineup Of San Diego Chefs Unite For Pop-Up Event Supporting Fire Relief Efforts In Los Angeles

An all-star lineup of area chefs is coming together in San Diego to support first responders impacted by the wildfires in Los Angeles.

A collective of renowned San Diego chefs is coming together to support first responders and families affected by the recent, devastating fires in Los Angeles. Organized by the Puffer Malarkey Collective in partnership with ChefWorks, the event, Pop-Up for LA, will take place on Monday, January 20, from 1-5pm at Herb & Wood in Little Italy.

The benefit will feature a feast prepared by approximately 20 chefs, including well-known names such as Brian Malarkey of Herb & Wood, Travis Swikard of Callie, William Bradley of three-Michelin-starred Addison, Drew Deckman of 31ThirtyOne, Davin Waite of Wrench & Rodent, Tara Monsod of Animae, and Jason McLeod of The Boatyard, among others. Guests can enjoy smash burgers, oysters, and fries, with additional cocktails, beer, and wine available for purchase.

Tickets for the event are priced at $50 per person, which includes food offerings from participating chefs while supplies last. Additional drinks can be purchased on-site, with all sales contributing directly to WCK's fire relief efforts. Tickets can be reserved through OpenTable.

All proceeds from the event will go to World Central Kitchen (WCK), an organization dedicated to providing meals to first responders and communities affected by disasters. ChefWorks has committed to matching the first $10,000 raised. Donations of additional items will also be accepted at the door, with details on drop-offs to be announced.

Herb & Wood is located at 2210 Kettner Boulevard in San Diego's Little Italy. For more details and to purchase tickets, visit Herb & Wood on OpenTable.
