The Musical, the Tony Award-winning sensation, will bring its electrifying spectacle to the San Diego Civic Theatre for a limited engagement. Performances are scheduled from Tuesday, June 24 to Sunday, July 6, 2025, offering local theatergoers a chance to experience the glitz and grandeur of this acclaimed production.
Moulin Rouge! The Musical, based on Baz Luhrmann's iconic 2001 film from 20th Century Studios, is a theatrical mash-up that has captivated audiences worldwide. The production, which opened at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre in New York in 2019 and reopened in 2021 after the Broadway shutdown due to the pandemic, has earned an impressive 10 Tony Awards, including Best Musical, along with accolades from the Drama League, Drama Desk, and Outer Critics Circle Awards.
