San Diego's Notorious Lamborghini Yacht Hits Market For 'Urgent Sale'

One of San Diego Bay’s most infamous luxury vessels is now listed for "urgent sale." The bright blue Lamborghini yacht is being marketed for immediate purchase at the price of nearly $5 million, marking the latest chapter in a saga filled with legal troubles, viral controversies, and bizarre public incidents.

The $4.5 million Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63 yacht, named Aspen & Delilah after owner Ajay Thakore's three-legged dog and daughter, is the only Lamborghini yacht on the West Coast. Thakore—also known as Ace Rogers or AJ "Ace" Thakore—has drawn attention not just for the yacht’s rarity but for his well-publicized behavior.

The yacht was first featured in the national spotlight when TMZ published a video in February 2024 of former UFC champion Chuck Liddell falling off the boat into San Diego Bay. Less than a month later, Thakore again made headlines while on the yacht when he was caught on video in a heated altercation with a dock worker at San Diego's Seaforth Boat Rental.

"I'll kill you! I will kill you! You know I'll kill you! I will kill you! I will kill you!" the man is heard shouting on the video, while the dock worker's response is inaudible. The man continues, "Yeah, I doubt it! Ace Rogers, call me! Time and place!"

In the viral clip, Thakore can be heard screaming threats at 21-year-old employee Joseph Holt, reportedly throwing money into the water while allegedly making derogatory remarks about Holt's social status. The situation escalated when a second video showed Thakore purportedly exposing himself and making lewd gestures toward onlookers on the dock. As a result, he was reportedly charged with indecent exposure last fall.
This wasn't Thakore’s first brush with controversy. In 2021, he was accused of harassing a La Jolla pizzeria, American Pizza Manufacturing, through a coordinated campaign involving negative online reviews, a Maybach and a Ford Raptor Shelby Baja wrapped in anti-pizzeria slogans, and even a plane flying overhead with banners disparaging the business. He later sued the restaurant, alleging discrimination, while the pizzeria countersued for harassment.

Additionally, Thakore was entangled in legal disputes with La Jolla’s Nautilus Tavern, which accused him of stalking, urinating on the premises, and harassing employees. In mid-2024, he was also the subject of a domestic violence restraining order filed by a woman claiming to be his longtime girlfriend and the mother of his child, though the case was later dismissed.

Regardless of its history, the Aspen & Delilah remains an exceptional piece of engineering. The 63-foot yacht boasts twin 2000 HP MAN V12 BiTurbo diesel engines, allowing it to reach speeds over 60 knots. The vessel has undergone extensive custom upgrades, including Starlink internet, underwater SeaBobs, an outdoor-rated television, and high-end Italian fabrics inspired by the Lamborghini Sián FKP 37.

The Yachtworld listing, described as an "urgent sale," invites potential buyers to make an offer, with the yacht being available for immediate delivery. The asking price is $4,495,500, tax included. It is currently docked in San Diego Bay and reportedly maintained by a crew of 20-30 people. Thakore's motivations for the sudden sale remain unclear.
