This year's theme, "Where Color Takes Flight," enhances the magic of the Flower Fields with Alex Heveri’s "Glass in Flight" exhibit, featuring over three dozen glass and steel sculptures of butterflies, bees, dragonflies, and other pollinators. The breathtaking installations will be scattered throughout the fields, complementing the already dazzling floral landscape.
Adding to the experience, the Butterfly Encounter makes its debut this season, allowing visitors to step inside an enclosure where hundreds of butterflies flutter freely. Guests can feed the butterflies sugar water and watch them land gently on their hands. The exhibit will be open daily from 10:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with tickets available for $5 per person. Children three and under can enter for free. Tickets for the Butterfly Encounter are sold separately from general admission and can be purchased south of the Sweet Pea Maze.
Beyond the blooms, The Flower Fields will host a variety of special events and activities throughout the season. Visitors can enjoy live music performances, including acts like Gainesville The Band, Mariachi Serenata, and The Free Collective Band. Wellness enthusiasts can participate in Golden Hour Pilates, Sunset Meditation, Sound Healing, and Flower Flow Yoga. Other highlights include sunset wine tastings, flower crown workshops, and Tea in the Garden—offering unique ways to experience the beauty of the fields.
Food and beverage options will also be available throughout the season. Guests can enjoy fresh, hot pizza from the Pizza Trolley, classic frozen treats from Sweet Swirls Ice Cream, and seasonal strawberry desserts from the Strawberry Shack of Carlsbad. Kettle Kernels Popcorn will serve gourmet varieties, while the Taco Trolley offers authentic Mexican fare. Refreshing lemonade, cotton candy, and coffee will also be available.
The Flower Fields will be open for eight to ten weeks, making this a limited-time experience. General admission is $27 for adults, $25 for seniors and military, and $17 for children ages three to ten. Wagon rides are available for $8 per adult and $4 per child. Advanced tickets are required and can be purchased online.
