The second San Diego location of Square Pizza will open in the former Make Pizza & Salads space on Park Boulevard in the East Village. This expansion marks a bold step for the eatery, which has built a stellar reputation since its founding in late 2016 by Fred Santos, and promises to bring its acclaimed rectangular pies to a new neighborhood near Petco Park.
Santos, who along with his business partner Bruno Lippi launched Square Pizza Co. at 4508 Cass Street in Pacific Beach, has focused on quality and innovation, earning a loyal following with his meticulously crafted pies.
