The Padres' 21st season at Petco Park, located at 100 Park Boulevard, introduces major renovations to the historic Western Metal Supply Co. Building, alongside fresh dining options that highlight San Diego’s culinary talent. From local craft brews to Michelin-starred seafood, the ballpark offers a taste of the city’s finest, complemented by events like Party In The ParkKidsFest, Military Appreciation Sundays, First Responder Salutes, and pre-game performances by a house band on the Sycuan Stage in Gallagher Square before Saturday home games. Be sure to mark the calendar for Padres Theme Games and Giveaways. There are also frequent special events at Petco Park and concerts
Petco Park’s Western Metal Supply Co. Building has undergone a $20 million renovation, unveiled for Opening Day 2025. The Budweiser Loft on the fifth level now features a refreshed bar, premium furnishings, and a new grand staircase connecting to the remodeled 4,000-square-foot Rooftop, which offers improved sightlines, expanded seating, covered trellis areas with shade and heating, and two 16x9’ videoboards for groups of 300 or more.
The Foul Pole Suite, ideal for groups of 20+, boasts luxury finishes and an updated catering layout, while the Entertainment Suite for 16+ includes an extended deck and enhanced privacy. The Padres New Era Team Store has expanded by 1,000 square feet, featuring modern finishes and additional checkouts. Gallagher Square, revamped in 2024, continues to host events, and the Cutwater Agave Club on the Terrace Level remains a premium seating area with semi-inclusive food and beverage offerings for members.
Petco Park has long been celebrated for its food, earning the title of MLB’s best ballpark for dining from USA Today in 2024 and best overall ballpark in 2025, and this year elevates the experience further with new vendors and upgraded amenities. Petco Park welcomes several new vendors for 2025, alongside exclusive dishes from its hospitality operator, Delaware North.
"We really shouldn’t be surprised at this point because Petco Park truly is the perfect ballpark," reads the USA Today article naming Petco Park the #1 MLB stadium in 2025.  "It’s embedded right in the heart of downtown San Diego with the skyline basically on top of you. There’s a community park that leads right into the outfield concourses, making it a cool place to check out even on non-gamedays. Petco Park has the best food and beer selection in baseball to go along with the top-notch location. It's impossible to have a bad experience there."
Ballast Point has partnered with Michelin-starred Chef Drew Deckman to convert The Draft Cocktails & Craft Beer perch to become Deckman’s at The Draft (Section 107).
