Certified as the largest crawfish boil in the world, the San Diego Crawfish Boil will import around 25,000 pounds of fresh, live crawfish straight from the suburbs of Lafayette, Louisiana, to be cooked on site at bayside Waterfront Park in downtown San Diego. Not into sucking on crawfish? The event also has many other food vendors ready to sell traditional cajun and creole favorites. Presented by Raisin' Canes Chicken and the LSU Alumni Chapter of San Diego, the all-inclusive event also features live entertainment, including a performance by Grammy Award Winners Rebirth Brass Band.
Tickets to the San Diego Crawfish Boil are available online and moving fast. The Bayou single ticket is $87.50 and includes admission, complimentary soft drinks & beer, and so much crawfish with seasoned corn & potatoes (50 lbs per 10 person table, more than enough for everyone and even leftovers to bring home). Promo code SDVILLE saves $5 per standard ticket. Some standard tables for 10 are still available at the price of $850 and promo code SDVILLETABLE saves $50 per table. Proceeds from this event are donated to fund a San Diego Scholarship fund at LSU for San Diego based students.
