WWE Survivor Series Coming To San Diego's Petco Park In 2025

Fresh off the spectacle of WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas this past weekend, WWE has officially announced that its annual Survivor Series Premium Live Event will be held this year at San Diego's Petco Park, marking the first professional wrestling event for the outdoor stadium venue.

The announcement was made during the April 21 edition of WWE Monday Night Raw, which aired live on Netflix. Fans can expect a traditional Survivor Series experience, possibly including the "War Games" format, set against the backdrop of downtown San Diego. The event is scheduled to take place on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at Petco Park, marking a rare open-air stadium setting for the long-running wrestling showcase.

Petco Park, home of the San Diego Padres, boasts a seating capacity of over 42,000 and has previously hosted major concerts, festivals, and sporting events - but this will mark the venue's first-ever WWE Premium Live Event. The stadium's scenic location in the East Village and its reputation for offering an intimate, fan-friendly atmosphere make it a compelling setting for one of WWE’s "Big Five" annual events.

This will also mark the first Survivor Series held in San Diego and only the third major WWE pay-per-view in the city’s history, following One Night Stand in 2008 and Judgment Day in 2003, both at the Sports Arena. The Survivor Series event is expected to draw thousands of wrestling fans from across the country, providing a major boost to San Diego’s downtown economy and hospitality industry during the holiday season.

Speculation is already mounting around potential appearances from WWE megastars like John Cena, Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes, The Rock, and San Diego’s own Dominik Mysterio, who could receive a hometown hero's welcome if added to the card. Ticket information and on-sale dates have yet to be announced, but more details are expected to follow in the coming weeks on WWE.com.

Stay tuned for further updates as San Diego gets ready to host a night of high-flying action, rivalries, and Survivor Series showdowns under the Southern California stars.
